What to Expect from GiddyUp Drones
From first conversation to final delivery
1. Tell Us About Your Project
Provide the project location, type of imagery needed, intended use, and any specific requirements. We'll discuss the scope of work, objectives, and anticipated deliverables.
2. Receive Your Estimate
You will receive a written estimate outlining the proposed services, deliverables, applicable travel expenses, optional additions, and total project cost. We want the numbers on the table before you commit - no surprise charges after the fact.
3. Approve, Sign & Reserve Your Date
Once you approve the estimate, you will complete the Client Project Information Form, which records the assignment details, and sign the Client Services Contract, which contains the general terms of service. A 50% booking payment reserves the scheduled assignment date and initiates project planning.
4. Flight & Project Planning
Before the assignment, we review airspace restrictions, weather forecasts, site conditions, equipment requirements, and operational considerations. The Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) retains final authority over flight safety and determines whether operations can proceed. If conditions are not safe or legal, we will work with you on the best alternative or reschedule.
5. Preparing the Site
Before arrival, clients confirm property access, required permissions, relevant contact information, and any areas excluded from filming. Interior locations should be prepared as appropriate, including securing pets, clearing access routes, and identifying priority areas.
6. On-Site Operations
We conduct the scheduled aerial or ground-based imaging activities according to the agreed project scope. Operations may include photography, video, thermal imaging, FPV flights, mapping imagery, or other specialized documentation.
7. Image Processing & Editing
Captured files are reviewed, organized, backed up, and processed as required. Depending on the assignment, this may include photographic corrections, video editing, stabilization, panoramic processing, or mapping outputs. Anticipated delivery timelines are outlined in the project agreement.
8. Preview & Included Revisions
When applicable, a watermarked or reduced-resolution preview is provided for review. One consolidated round of minor revisions is included. Additional revisions, substantial changes, or new capture requirements may be quoted separately.
9. Final Payment & Delivery
Following the review process, the remaining 50% balance is due. Once payment is confirmed, completed deliverables are provided through a designated client delivery link.
Important Details
Raw Footage
Raw photographs and video files are not included with standard finished deliverables unless specified in the project agreement. Raw-file delivery may be arranged for an additional fee. Files are provided in their original captured format without editing or processing.
File Retention & Storage
Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their completed files. GiddyUp Drones generally retains raw files for up to six months and final deliverables for up to one year, subject to the project agreement. Delivery links are not intended for permanent storage.
Copyright & Usage Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, GiddyUp Drones retains copyright ownership of its original imagery and video. Clients receive the usage rights specified in their project agreement. Portfolio use, confidentiality, and any restrictions on publication are addressed as part of the project arrangements.
