What to Expect from GiddyUp Drones
From first conversation to final delivery
1. Tell Us About Your Project
Start with the location, what you would like photographed or filmed, how you plan to use the finished work, and any must-have shots or timing needs. We will help define the scope so you know exactly what is included.
2. Receive Your Estimate
You will receive a written estimate showing the services, deliverables, travel or add-ons when applicable, and the total project price. We want the numbers on the table before you commit - no surprise charges after the fact.
3. Approve, Sign & Reserve Your Date
Once you approve the estimate, you will complete the Client Project Information Form, which records the assignment details, and sign the Client Services Contract, which contains the general terms of service. A 50% booking payment reserves your assignment date and allows project planning to begin.
4. We Prepare for the Assignment
For aerial work, GiddyUp reviews weather, airspace, site conditions, operational requirements, and other safety considerations. The RPIC (Remote Pilot in Command) always has final authority over the flight. If conditions are not safe or legal, we will work with you on the best alternative or reschedule. GiddyUp Drones is FAA Part 107 certified and fully insured for professional drone operations.
5. Preparing for Production Day
Before the scheduled assignment, the client is responsible for confirming property access, required permissions, contact information, and any areas that should not be photographed. Spaces should be prepared before the scheduled arrival time, including removing clutter, securing pets, opening blinds when appropriate, and identifying must-have shots.
6. Production Day
We arrive ready to capture the agreed project scope. Depending on your assignment, that may include aerial photography/video, indoor FPV, 360° ground photography, real-estate imagery, inspections, construction imagery, or special-project coverage.
7. Editing & Professional Finishing
After the shoot, your files are organized, reviewed, backed up, and edited. Finished work may include color and exposure correction, stabilization, reframing, titles, music/audio work, and other professional finishing while preserving an honest representation of the subject. Your estimate or project agreement will include the anticipated delivery timeframe. Turnaround varies according to the project’s size, complexity, weather delays, and requested deliverables.
8. Preview & One Included Revision Round
You will receive a watermarked and/or lower-resolution preview. One consolidated round of minor revisions is included. That means you gather your requested changes—such as text, music, clip order, or similar finishing adjustments—and send them together. Additional revision rounds are available at the rates stated in your estimate. New filming or major changes are quoted separately.
9. Final Payment & Delivery
After the preview and included revision round, the remaining 50% balance is due. Once payment is received and confirmed, we send your clean final deliverables through your client delivery link.
Important Details
Raw Footage
Raw footage is optional and is not automatically included with finished deliverables. Optional raw-footage delivery is available at the rate stated in your estimate. Raw files are delivered exactly as captured—unedited, untrimmed, and ungraded. Very large projects may require a custom quote.
Your Files After Delivery
Please download and back up your final files. GiddyUp generally retains raw footage for six months and final deliverables for one year. Delivery links are convenient for delivery, but they are not intended to serve as permanent client storage.
A Note About Copyright & Sharing
Unless a separate written copyright transfer is arranged, GiddyUp retains copyright to the work and the client receives the usage rights stated in the project agreement. GiddyUp may feature completed work in its portfolio and marketing unless you request confidentiality before the project begins.
